Tio’s ears perked upon closer inspection at Arin’s chipped teeth. It oddly made him a little more comfortable about his own health, seeing as he wasn’t alone.. kinda. And at least the beautifly understood and accepted how he was. He tensed up a bit and nuzzled into him, a small purr rumbling in the back of his throat “I guess you’ve got a point there heh… ” he smiles softly “Yeah I did actually. I used the metal bat on Mo’s head to save my-… my friend… before Mo would’ve stomped his face in.” he frowned at the horrible memory of that day but felt comfort in Arin’s embrace.

Arin took comfort from the hold, pulling the Umbreon close so he could feel the purring Tio was making. He wanted warmth, and comfort. It wasn’t something he’d gotten a lot of in his adolescence. He felt his chin lift as Tio nuzzled into him, and smiled. It was amazingly soothing to the Beautifly’s generally frayed and uptight nerves. “I’m glad you found something to use it on.” Arin mumbled. If only because he was a tad tired, but he was relaxed as well. “Hopefully that Mo guy won’t bother you to much now…” Arin didn’t notice Tio’s frown, his eyes had closed.

There it was, his heart starting to pound once more from being so close to the beautifly. He rested his head upon his shoulder and laid on his side, a hand resting on the other’s chest. “wa?.. w-what makes you say that?” a light tint of pink flushed upon the umbreons face as he stuttered “I mean.. what do you think is cute specifically? I…. Well all I see in myself is a grungy mess…”

Arin kept his gaze at the ceiling, but smiled when he felt Tio snuggle up beside him. “Well, you’re a lot gentler than me, that’s fer damn sure.” Then Arin shrugged a little. “I think your face is pretty cute, too.” He reached over and gave Tio’s cheek a gentle rub with the pad of his thumb, smiling at him.

“I.. my face?” stares up at him a bit, purring from the feeling of Arin’s cheek on his thumb but still rather confused “Even with my… blood shot eyes.. rotting teeth.. bags on my eyelids and dull complexion?” wow what a way to describe himself to someone he liked. yeah that’ll make him sound attractive.

“I’ve seen worse.” At that, Arin turned his face so he could grin at the other. If one looked closely they could see that two of his teeth on one side were chipped rather badly. However, it didn’t stop the Beautifly from smiling all the more. “Anyways, what should I really expect? Yer kind of drug addled, I didn’t really expect a beauty queen.” He took this moment to scratch behind Tio’s ear again. “That reminds me, did you ever get to make use of that stuff I gave ya?”
